Merchandising Assistant

You will work closely with the buyers and other merchandisers to plan product ranges and manage budgets with the guidance of your senior. Having excellent planning skills and being able to assess the needs of each individual store and how they differ
You role will involve:
- Detailed sales forecasting to maximise sales and profit according to the category strategy
- Controlling stock levels within budgets
- Predicting sales and profits
- Assessing sales performance of different ranges and reporting
- Negotiating quantities and delivery timescales
- Supplier management
- Ensuring data integrity in the catalogue planning spreadsheets
What you need to be a successful Merchandiser:
- Merchandising experience
- Good communication and motivation skills
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and be highly analytical
- Good ability to work over several seasons at a time and several catalogues
