Warehouse QC Garment Technologist

Role Overview:
We are looking for a detail-driven Warehouse QC Garment Technologist. You will be responsible for checking inbound goods to ensure all products meet company quality standards, technical specifications, and customer expectations before being moved into stock. This role is key to protecting brand reputation and ensure the highest-quality garments to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect inbound deliveries to ensure garments meet approved specifications, size measurements, fabric standards, and finishing requirements.
- Check product quality against sealed samples, gold seals, and approved tech packs.
- Accurately record and report any faults, damages, or non-conformance issues to the Garment tech Manager and Buying manager
- Work closely with suppliers, warehouse, and buying teams to resolve any quality issues quickly and effectively.
- Maintain accurate QC records, reports, and tracking of all inspections carried out.
- Support the warehouse team in quarantining and escalating non-compliant stock.
- Ensure all QC checks are completed in line with company processes and deadlines.
- Carry out random spot checks of stock to monitor consistency of quality.
- Assist in updating QC guidelines and continuously improving inspection processes.
- Promote best practice in product handling, garment care, and compliance with company standards.
- QC check on high returns styles
Skills & Experience Required:
- Previous experience in a QC / garment technologist role, ideally within fashion or apparel.
- Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and finishing standards.
- Excellent eye for detail with the ability to spot even minor defects.
- Confident using measurement tools and working to garment specifications.
- Good communication skills to report issues clearly and effectively.
- Organised, proactive, and able to work independently under pressure.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills within warehouse and head office functions.
- Basic IT skills (Excel, reporting systems).
