Key responsibilities included:
- Managing the critical path from order placement through to delivery.
- Liaising with overseas factories, particularly in the Far East.
- Raising and managing purchase orders.
- Monitoring production schedules and shipment dates.
- Working closely with design, buying and product development teams.
- Managing customer accounts requirements.
- Reviewing costs, margins and delivery performance.
- Coordinating freight, shipping documentation and import processes.
- Experienced in managing marketplace accounts, ensuring product listings are accurately maintained, stock availability is monitored, promotions are executed effectively, and customer requirements are met to maximise sales performance across online platforms
- Maintaining critical path reports.
Experience sought:
- Previous import merchandising experience within fashion.
- Strong supplier and factory management skills.
- Experience of jersey, woven or occasional wear product categories advantageous but not essential
- Excellent Excel and systems knowledge.
- Ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
