Garment Technologist – Lingerie

Our client specialises in the design, development and manufacture of lingerie, underwear, nightwear and swimwear for leading retailers and brands. Based in a beautiful location in North Yorkshire and with their own factory in China, they offer a comprehensive design and technical service to their customers. Due to continued growth and exciting new opportunities, they now need to expand their amazing team and are looking for a Garment Technologist to work cohesively and effectively within the technical team, partnering with the supplier base.
You will:
- Ensure consistency of product performance throughout the categories ensuring that boundaries are continually pushed to ensure quality, performance and fit is at its highest
- Follow the QA processes and procedures to ensure there is flexibility with the continually changing buying patterns and market trends
- Work with supplier base to consistently implement processes to improve cost efficiency, quality and performance wherever possible
- Monitor and analyse market trends, working closely with the deign team to deliver new and innovative products and trends, that exceed customers’ expectations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the supply base, reviewing and analysing their performance to delivery highest quality and performance
- Take a pro-active and flexible approach to products, keeping sample requirements, testing and submissions to a minimum, ensuring critical path deadlines are achieved
- Monitor any quality issues, ensuring quality and performance is aligned with the buying strategies and meets the needs of the market.

- An established Garment Technologist with lingerie and swimwear industry experience
- Able to build positive and constructive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
