Buyers Admin Assistant

Our client is a home textiles company with over 100 years of service, the business has built strong relationships with many of the UK's leading home furnishing retailers, independents, mail order and e-commerce companies, working with them to create and deliver market leading designs that go on to become best-selling collections.
With a passion for design, a focus on innovation and commitment to providing high quality products, they have set the standard in readymade curtains, bedding, cushions, accessories and kitchen textiles in the home furnishings market.
Responsibilities:
- Raising and amending purchase orders
- Checking and amending data from the customers and suppliers on the in-house system
- Sample management
- Running reports for account managers and merchandisers to review
- Assisting with new product set up
- Assisting with additional ad-hoc administrative tasks
Skills:
- Excellent Microsoft skills, particularly Excel
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Degree in Buying/Merchandising or equivalent experience
